We guys it is just seven weeks till the second STARs event of this winter.
Once again we will be in the Nevis Suite at Hampden Park with a 7.15pm start time. Guest number one is Alun Rossiter, Coventry Team manager and former rider who will be able to tell us all about Coventry’s dramatic Play Off win over Poole in 2010. We are in negations with guest number 2 and if it all comes off he will be another great guest, we hope to be in a position to announce his name later this week.
The evening will also see the drawing of the 100 club winners for January and February with each winner taking away a cheque for £250. We will also have a special 100 club draw with ten members winning a very special Speedway prize.
We will also have a chat with the Glasgow promotion about the new changes to the track and their hopes for the 2011 season, we also hope that some of the 2011 team will be in attendance.
In the prize auction we will again have some great prizes such as some framed signed photos as well as some items from our guests
The prize raffle will also have some great prizes including two tickets for the Cardiff GP plus your chance to be in a team photo from 2011 Press Day a full list of the prizes for the auction and raffle will be posted nearer the event.
So get Saturday 26th February marked in you diary

Rosco will be a great guest - wish I could make it along but the date clashes with the World Speedway Rider Associations Scottish Dinner Dance

Great choice as he is never short of a controversial opinion or two. Will be interesting to hear what he has to say if Coventry haven't been readmitted into the Elite League by then!

He may not be able to say anything about the Coventry situation due to the impending legal process!

If the situation isn't resolved by the end of Feb, then both the EL and PL will be in some state - will fixtures be delayed? Will EL teams be finalised etc. If it drags on that long the PL has to go it alone and get their fixtures out regardless
