If you fancy a meander through the old programmes but aren't so keen on clambering around in the attic to find them you could do worse than head for this link app.box.com/s/1wvhjhrhndacn26mbx0g4xttfnvc5n00
First up is the Craighead Park collection which, to the best of my knowledge, is complete. If anyone has any further information regarding some of the rained off meetings that weren't re-issued I'd like to hear from you.
I'm going to move onto Workington and Blantyre 1 shortly, although that collection is lacking a few so I might be looking for collaborators to round out the set. I'll get around to the away programmes at a later date. The above link will also take you to the 1978 programme scans, over 700 so far, and also my 1978 full season results file.
Finally I make no apologies for the flamboyant proggie marking - I was a man of many pens...

These are excellent Dave, I can't imagine how many hours that must have taken. I've enjoyed reading the few programmes that are missing from my collection. Let us know which ones you are missing from Blantyre I and Workington and I'll see if I have them.

A real labour of love and an excellent reference source. Well done!

Thanks, glad you're enjoying them. I'll put on everything I've got then we can take a look at filling in the gaps. The scanning process is relatively painless, biggest problem is straightening up squinty text and staples. I wasn't going to go back to Coatbridge as my collection thins out 76-75-74 and nothing from 73 but if I can round up a couple of collaborators then maybe we could pull a full collection together.

I've got most of the early 74 newspaper style programs. Not sure how easy they will be to scan but you're welcome to borrow them if you get back to that year.

I've got some of those newspaper chaps but not all so may well come back to you on that one Coombes. I've got an A3 scanner which makes life a lot easier.

Great stuff! I'll enjoy looking through those.
I've stuck the link on a couple of FB pages so that others can appreciate your hard work.

That's every home programme I have from 1974-87 scanned and uploaded. Now comes the fun bit. I need to ascertain the 'fate' of certain programmes so I'm calling on anyone with a good collection to see if you can help with any of the following:
18/10/1974 Scottish Junior Championship - Rained Off Last meeting of the season, does any programme exist?
01/10/1976 Coatbridge v Berwick (CH) - Rained Off Was this programme reissued (with insert?) either 08/10 v Peterborough or 15/10 Junior 3TT? If not, does a programme exist? RESOLVED
15/09/1978 Glasgow v Halifax (ILCH) - Rained Off Was this programme reissued (with insert) 24/09 v Edinburgh? RESOLVED
09/10/1983 Glasgow v Edinburgh (NL) - Rained Off Pages three to ten were reissued witha fresh cover on 22/10 restaging. Does a copy with the original 09/10 cover exist?
10/05/1985 Glasgow v Mildenhall (NL) My copy is an insert inside a programme from 26/04 v Berwick. I'm sure I recall finding it bizarre that a programme from a staged meeting had been reissued however I have since seen a small collection of progs that only has the insert, no reissued programme. I wasn't in the habit of buying a programme to enclose an insert-only meeting so I'm baffled as to why I would have done so on this occasion. Anyone got similar?
22/09/1985 Glasgow v Arena Essex (NL) - Rained Off Programme not reissued - does one exist?
01/08/1986 Glasgow v Milton Keynes (NL) - Rained Off Programme not reissued - does one exist?
08/05/1987 Grand Slam Qualifying Round - Cancelled Cancelled late in the week, possibly the day before, due to stadium being unavailable. Any programme?
31/07/1987 Glasgow v Stoke (NL) - Rained Off Not reissued, we became Workington shortly afterwards. Does this one exist?
16/08/1987 Workington v Wimbledon - Rained Off Was this reissued (with insert?) for the restaging on 13/09?
If anyone spots any discrepancies on the respective seasons' programme lists I'd appreciate the correct info.
I've discovered I might have a decent set of Shawfield progs until 1995 that I had forgotten about so this project has plenty life in it yet. I'll come back to filling in the gaps once I've sorted out at least some of the above queries.

Dave, dont know if this helps but the "Into the Eighties" handbook comments that there were several attempts to run the Scottish Junior Championship with it falling foul of rain, snow and fog at different times, so would expect there was a program but may be not with the date you gave.

That'll be a tough proggy to find. I have a date of 18th January 1975 for one of the restaging attempts. I wonder if they tried to run it again on the 25th October, must investigate.

1974: Scottish Junior Championship: I have three copies of this programme, with the title "Brian Collins Training School" on the front and middle pages. 1976: Reissued with Peterborough insert. 1978: Reissued with Edinburgh insert. 1983: My programme is dated 22/10. May 1985: Like you, my programme is an insert into the April Berwick meeting. 1985 v Arena Essex: My programme is dated 26 Oct. 1987 I do not have either programme in my collection.

Thanks PC. Are the three 1974 SJC programmes dated at all? Interesting you also have the 1985 Berwick reissue. I've added a Workington query I had missed to the above list.
Incidentally I found as I was scanning that I have quite a few doublers so I'll put a list together shortly in case anyone is looking to plug some gaps.

Dave, the front cover of the SJC was the standard issue for 1974. There was no date. The "heading" at the foot of the programme stated:- Brian Collins Training School Sponsored, Arranged and Presented By G.T.S.S.C. It must have been issued free because two of the three programmes had the 10p price scored-out in felt-tip pen. They also scored-out the name Ronnie Cain, who was marked in as the President of the GTSSC. For some unknown reason, the other programme did not have these items scored-out and I had written Frew Blant on page three!!! No idea why. I can send you a programme if interested.
