Finally got back round to this. PC, a scan of the programme would suffice if you're able to. It sounds like 2 of the copies may be from the early 1975 attempts, hence the GTSSC change. Just a thought.

Dave, the front cover of the SJC was the standard issue for 1974. There was no date. The "heading" at the foot of the programme stated:- Brian Collins Training School Sponsored, Arranged and Presented By G.T.S.S.C. It must have been issued free because two of the three programmes had the 10p price scored-out in felt-tip pen. They also scored-out the name Ronnie Cain, who was marked in as the President of the GTSSC. For some unknown reason, the other programme did not have these items scored-out and I had written Frew Blant on page three!!! No idea why. I can send you a programme if interested. I've got my hands on a copy which also has the price and Ronnie Cain's name crossed out so I'm guessing that these programmes are from the early 1975 attempt(s) to stage the meeting, and the 'clean' version is from the 1974 rain-off. I'll add this one, and a couple of others I snagged, to the scans later. Also going to start scanning the away programmes although they'll only cover 77-87.

The away programmes up to 1982 are now uploaded, not complete by any means but worth doing. Also some additions to the Coatbridge home files.
Working on 1983 at the moment, can anyone confirm that the 19/10 at Edinburgh programme was a straight re-issue (without any insert) of the rained off 07/10 match?
Earlier in the season Tigers were rained-off at Newcastle on 02/05. I have the programme but bizarrely the racecard has been completed for an Oxford v Newcastle BL match from 1984! If anyone has this programme, I'd appreciate a scan of the blank racecard in PDF format.

What I have for 74-87 have now been uploaded. I've got a better than expected run of Shawfield programmes up to the end of 1995 at my disposal so I'll be scanning those in due course. The 1988 homes are all online bar the final meeting of the season - I'd like to know if the 10/10/88 match with Edinburgh used the programme from the 03/10 rain-off, was there an insert, or was it a completely fresh programme?

Quick update - homes and aways up to 1990 now uploaded. The away programmes dry up at this point so it'll be homes only for 91-95. They should trickle on over the next few weeks.

The 1991 home programmes are now online. I've just taken delivery of a few more programmes so further updates to follow. Saw this pic in the 94 Pairs programme thought it warranted inclusion on it's own...

Many thanks Dave, I've been enjoying reminiscing about the double double years. I also managed to find the programmes in which my sister and I were mascots, how time flies!

Thanks, glad you're enjoying them. That's the 1995 homes online which brings to an end the majority of the uploading, for now at least. The project may be further extended but I'll need to weigh up a few options first. In the meantime I'll leave you with this reminder of the good old days when Tigers supporters were so poor they had to be given food vouchers

If you fancy a meander through the old programmes but aren't so keen on clambering around in the attic to find them you could do worse than head for this link app.box.com/s/1wvhjhrhndacn26mbx0g4xttfnvc5n00
First up is the Craighead Park collection which, to the best of my knowledge, is complete. If anyone has any further information regarding some of the rained off meetings that weren't re-issued I'd like to hear from you.
I'm going to move onto Workington and Blantyre 1 shortly, although that collection is lacking a few so I might be looking for collaborators to round out the set. I'll get around to the away programmes at a later date. The above link will also take you to the 1978 programme scans, over 700 so far, and also my 1978 full season results file.
Finally I make no apologies for the flamboyant proggie marking - I was a man of many pens... Hi Dave I tried to open the link but am getting a message saying the file has been removed. Any way you can restore it please.
