It's great to see Christian getting amongst the points, don't think anyone really expected him to be the one leading the way in the fight for the 3rd heat leader position. But does anyone share the opinion it's having an adverse effect on Grievesy. Although he's winning races he doesn't seem very quick and as Christian sits mid track Grievesy seem stuck on the tight inside trying to team ride. James doesn't seem to have the confidence to wind it on round the outside line. which most of the visiting riders have no fear of doing. It reminds me of 2004 with James stuck behind Paul Bentley.
James really needs the heat wins for his own confidence. Don't know what the answer would be. switch postions to give James better gate postions? switch Theo & Christian? don't want to start messing with Christian while he's doing well. maybe switch James to number 2 for a few weeks?

Also, a special mention to Christian Henry for bringing home a decent tally of points. The guy has missed a lot of speedway recently after enduring some horrific injuries. What I will say though is that if he doesn't make the gate and is last coming out of bend 2 then you might as well score 0 on your programme right there and then. Some good points nate. IMHO for someone coming back from horrendous injures if Christian scores 3 paid wins every meeting then i can forgive the 0 point ride.

Christian's never been noted as a gater and he was good at the outside line around Armadale when he rode there, so I'm sure once his confidence increases so will his passing ability. Another point, last season we lost to both Newcastle and Berwick so we're already 6 up on that. If we can pick up a couple of points at least this week away from home, it'll mean a good start to the league

But does anyone share the opinion it's having an adverse effect on Grievesy? i agree that I don't think that Christian and James seem to be the best racing pair and think a wee switch somewhere would be good. theo at 3 instead maybe? also great score, a good all round team effort on Sunday
