drosser and miss tigs i totaly agree with your two posts and as you prolly know i see it first handand when you voice your opinion you get shot down as its not what people want to hear as ive said before the only way id comitment and determination and im not just talking about throwing money at it you got to have the will and bottle to push it to the limmit every time in speedway sadly i see very little of this in the second halfs

On E.M. Chatzone there is mention of a Honda engine made by Jialing which this guy has been using or in words giving a good thrashing for two years. He says nothing comes cheaper or close to it, might be worth a look for a first engine.

the honda engine thing was tryed to death a few years ago with full meetings being done on it never realy took off as the bigwiggs prolly couldnt control the priceing of them in other words they couldnt make anything off them its a very nish subject speedway there are so many people lining their pockets out off it

yeh in theory it would be ideal but not shure how the people in charge would view it , could be its fine for practice but not for official racing witch then would make it an added expense just now its fine for under 16s to ride on any engine they wish as long as the bike conforms to the standard required but in official racing the engine has to conform to the standard that the rules allow and i dont think honda is a recognized speedway engine ,,,, who said speedway was simple eh

He says nothing comes cheaper or close to it, might be worth a look for a first engine. The Chinese engine is a Honda clone of the much sold CG125 and does well as a starter engine for a youngster. It also is petrol fueled although it can with carb mods be upgraded to run on methanol.

Another cost that is essential,is both an ACU licence and and an SCB licence that's another £80 to £90 plus essential accident cover at approx £30 per month.
