The track looks as though it is going to be a belter.
Just one thought. Are there any implications for those fans who chose to view from the back straight or the third bend up until now? Space looks to have been reduced by a fair bit in those areas and when the safety fence is erected there will probably have to be a buffer zone between the fence and the spectators to comply with safety standards.

I think the outer wall is to be in line with the wall in front of the telephone mast i.e. the wall still shown in the posted pics, which if I remember right would leave a little standing room just in front of the existing terrace bars.
One area that will be affected is in front of the bar which I belive will become a no go area during racing as it will be the safety area.

I think the outer wall is to be in line with the wall in front of the telephone mast The wall in front of the telephone mast will be taken down as that will be where the safety fence will be. There is 2m between there and the fence that surrounds the telephone mast.

After a meeting at Ashfield at lunchtime today it was agreed that work will re-commence tomorrow (tuesday). We took the opportunity to invite Doc Bridgett and James Grieves in for a look and to seek their much valued advice. Both were delighted with what they saw and acknowledged the massive scale of the operation. Tommy and his men will be attempting to have the heavy work completed this week as it looks like the Glasgow area is set to miss the worst of the snow that has been forecast. We will hopefully have some more progress photos posted by the weekend.
