Are there any decent exclusively speedway podcasts out there?
The (short lived?) BBC (Norfolk?) Kings Lynn centric one was quite good.

Tonights British semi final at Redcar had 6 qualifiers. Paul through easily and only a retiral in his last stopped him getting 14. Four of the other qualifiers were former Tigers. Have we ever had two Tigers in the final.? Monk and McMillan possibly but cant be bothered checking. 1035 on a Friday night is well past my bedtime Don't know if this counts but in 1975 Jimmy Mac and Booby Beaton, with the latter being a reserve.

Sorry, no, doesn't count but I have trawled the records and both Charlie and Jimmy rode as Tigers in 1969 and 1970 finals. Nearly fifty years on before it will happen again, assuming Craig and Paul stay fit. If so , add in Wright, Kerr, Ayres, Worrall, Bewley, Harris and Lawson and 9/16 of this year's finalists will have worn the red and white.

Just because Robert only made reserve there is no need to refer to him in those terms

The curse of an insistive predictive text! I already changed it once! Classic, that gave me a chuckle.

Hans Andersen injured and now a doubt forSaturday. Tungate as well and doubt if Riss will make it. Better have Sarj and Ryan Macdonald on stand by.

Josh Bates and Kyle Bickley are the two official reserves though definitely looks like we could do with a few more. Not sure the world stage is ready for Sarj which got me thinking i've not complained about him once this season!

And Benny Boy Barker leaves Redcar not long after a testimonial. For " personal reasons " can be a euphemism but he seems to be high risk for whoever might sign him.

Might be the end of the road for Barker, cant have many clubs left that would take him. Only Scunthorpe springs to mind.

Just seen on FIM site that restaging would be Sunday at 2. Rain still forecast but less heavy than Saturday.

One for DWS f4om the Berwick FB page
£10 SPEEDWAY & KIDS GO FREE! In association with our sponsors we are proud to announce that the next match at Shielfield Park Stadium vs Edinburgh Monarchs Speedway on Saturday the 15th of June will be £10 entry for both adults and concessions and kids will attend free! We hope to entice new and old fans to come along and enjoy the Saturday night Shielfield Park experience and we want you to help us spread the word. We will also be continuing our offer of a free drink with every programme purchase. Fathers Day falls on Sunday the 16th of June so this is a great opportunity to treat those Dads out there that deserve a night out and a drink! Please feel free to Like, Share, Comment and spread the word on this fantastic promotion.
It'll be interesting to see how this works out, not so much on the night, but more in the following weeks. A free drink with every programme seems an overly generous offer. Interestingly it is described as "continuing" so it's not a one off.
