Couldn't ask for much better weather for opening day, should be a cracker. The anticipation is building, hopefully a good turnout.
I would assume Hynek Stichauer must be a major doubt for today seen as he popped his shoulder out last night? R/R may weaken Berwick slightly dependant on how Jade Mudgway is going, I remember Stichy being pretty handy on his last outing at Ashfield, although that's probably nothing to go on as it's not the same track.

Think Berwick are going with R/R for Stichauer and have Byron Bekker in for Tam Sike. According to BSF anyway.

One thing i am looking forward to with Berwick coming on Sunday is seeing Lee Complin around the track. When Lee guested for us last season he was flying around the old track and I'm sure with wider corners he will be a man to watch! keep an eye out for him Yeah, Lee has done a bit of flying at Ashfield. I think his crash a couple of years ago created a record flight distance at Ashfield. I really like watching Lee and hope that he returns to top form this season. But for horrific injuries I think he would be an Elite League rider now.

Well done the Tigers! looks like we have a team to be proud of! Berwick put up a good fight but lost out in the end. Joe - fantastic couldn't ask for more. Theo - impressive, will be awesome when he gets dialled into the track. Christian - did better than I expected and looked good when he made the gate. James - did ok but looked down on power at times. Josh - Had a blip but then was superb and made some good passes Nick - Not what he expected heat 2 ? but he will be better next week, I am sure. The Raj - Again heat 2? but looked more comfortable as the meeting wore on. All in all its looking good for the Tigers this year!

Sat next to a berwick fan who seemed to see a lot of bumps in the track that i coulndt make out. Well done to all the workers who have given us a track to be proud off. Bear in mind we have very little home advantage at the moment and as usual most visiting riders seemed to take to it with relative ease. Complin Franc and Mudgeway all goin for blasts at 3 and 4 which produced great viewing. If only Joe couldnt gate!! Once again well done and a big thank you!

Thought the track looked great, especially after expecting loads of bumps. The place is almost unrecognisable. Hopefully the fans turn up in decent numbers to justify the spend. Nice to see a bus up from Berwick.
