It was certainly the Bob Inn as I managed to er.... contribute to its continuing good fortune regularly in the mid 70's, sometimes in the company of a few speedway riders of that time. Coincidentally enough, sadly it didn't last for too long after the speedway finished there.

Didn't want to start a thread on the main bit of the forum, there is a good story in todays Paisley Daily Express which features Sid Sheldrick and talks mainly about the opening night at Love St and the Lion cub that was there.

There were a lot of good stories about at the time about the Lions, the type of publicity which could have been usefully used elsewhere in the mid 70's
