Theo, at his best, was very good indeed. If he can come anywhere close to his best form from the past than we should have a winner. It must be a big plus that he is concentrating on riding for the Stripes and he looks like he is determined to give it a right good go. So it's a thumbs up from me.

How does Sunday racing fit in with his longtrack commitments? We don't want to be emulating another local track by having a team rider permanently absent with odd excuses. I fancy the longtrack pays more than Glasgow Speedway.

Theo has dropped almost 90% of his continental commitments in Longtrack and Grasstrack to focus getting back into British Speedway with the Glasgow Tigers. He will continue to ride in a few meetings, but no more than 3 or 4 meetings over the course of the year.

I think Theo & Christian r the ones in the team we need 2 get out there & hav a real go....I think it could be a hit or a miss but I'd rather hav older guys who hav been around the block a bit giving it a go than inexperienced youngsters all the time. I think the rest of the team will hold their own. I guess we'll just hav 2 wait and see really.

VH do you or anyone else know specifically which grass / longtrack meetings Theo's going to be competing in? His commitments may be reduced but there's bound to be some interference with Glasgow fixtures.
In my opinion Theo's a key member of the team in 2011 and the fewer meetings he misses for the Tigers the better.

If he's not actually contracted to ride in certain meetings (which Glasgow presumably already know about and have (not) approved) then my understanding is that the Tigers must have first call on his services-end of.

From what ive heard Graham, Theo will ride in a few official FIM qualifiers and meetings ... then thats it. He wont be riding any open or individual meetings this year.

Hasnt he already stated that he is trying to work the few Sunday commitments he is taking on around Glasgow meetings Wont be easy with re-arranged meetings and rain-offs. The only definite blank Sundays are usually the BSPA shared events. Good to hear he is really serious about his speedway this season. He is obviously a talented motorcyclist and should he recapture anything remotely like the form of a few seasons back then he will obviously be steal on that CMA.

Thanks for that. I was concerned because obviously we wouldn't have a facility for him if he was away riding in non-FIM sanctioned grasstrack meetings.
