The modifications will have a few effects, I doubt anyone will be able to stand in front of the tote board, as it will end up being quite close to the track, and anyone there will likely be sprayed silly. Even with the 6 foot fence that will be there, raising to 8 ft around the new toilets.
The front of the bar will be off limits during racing as it will be close to, if not part of, the 2 meter exclusion zone.
Alan was saying he's expecting the main stand and home straights to be much busier with people, as spray could affect the start of the 4th bend enclosure etc also, to be honest we won't know for sure until the fence is in, and maybe once some bikes have seen the track to guage the spray.
The first bend will be restricted to being behind the existing metal stands i.e. above the stepped area, I suspect the back straight will be the same, but there will still be crowd space there.

Will we need more/higher sound proof "baffles" at the third bend now the track surface is a few feet higher? This might head off more noise protests from the new houses over the back of the third/fourth bend

Not heard yet, but there is still alot of work to do with the track fence that will dictate the 2m dead zone before they can be sure where the crowd can be in order to work that out.
