Good for him-too good a rider to get frozen out and we want as many ex-Tigers as possible riding in the UK. He'll make a big difference to them.

I remember crying when he left the tigers. After he left though I always wanted Belle Vue to do well.

Jason and Robert Nagy both had slow starts to there tigers careers with Jason being that bit younger. We should all remember that when the season starts that some riders need time to settle in. One of my few away meetings was Newcastle when Jason hit a bike in the track and he took off down the straight like a Human Cannonball Act. Think we still won that night!! Dont let his poor performance guesting detract from a great career.

Not all Redcar fans are happy about his signature according to BSF but seems to be a reasonable signing to me. At the minute he is the no1 averaged rider in the league, if Redcar sign Peter Larsen they'll have over 7 pts to play with for their final rider, giving them a useful side.
Jason flew halfway down the back straight at Newcastle that Sunday in 1990 in a Tigers victory. I've never seen a fence taking so long to repair despite their not being that much damage.Reason? David Bargh was late having missed half the match after riding in either the Commonwealth or Overseas final at Belle Vue and flew to Newcastle

It was a spectacular crash but in fact he didn't hit the fence at all DJW. Unbelievably the accident (casued by Jason missing the start and then collecting Spencer Timmo's riderless machine) was missed by both of the video companies who were there covering the meeting.

He's still a class act and I'll be amazed if he doesn't do a great job for Redcar. If some of their fans aren't happy about him signing then it'll take all of a couple of races to convince them.
