Q WORST INJURIES IN YOUR CAREER
DS The most painful was crushing my thumb when my primary chain broke but hell I’ve had a
few I tell ya. Believe it or not the worst injury I got was after I gave up speedway. I had been
racing a lot of MX and doing pretty good till I crashed and split my pelvis in half separating
my spine from my pelvis. So 5 pins a plate and four years later I’m back on a bike again and
lovin it.
Q WORST TRACK YOU RACED IN BRITAIN
DS Edinburgh, not because of the track but never got used to the shape for some reason.

DS Very seldom as it brings back too many good memories and unsettles me for weeks.
Q HOW DID YOU ENJOY RIDING WITH THE TIGERS
DS Bloody loved it.
Q WHICH SEVEN RIDERS WOULD YOU LOVED TO HAVE RACED WITH
DS Wiggy, Hans, Loram, and I wish I could have ridden with Per more as he was amazing to
watch.

DS They were all good to be honest. Tim Sugar was pretty up there.
Q BIGGEST ACHIVEMENT IN YOUR CAREER
DS Getting to the semi final of the world long track at the first and only attempt. Winning a first
division and premier league medal and living the dream.
Q DID YOU EVER RACE FOR YOUR COUNTRY
DS I was a bit cheeky because I used to race under the Zimbabwean flag in Europe which they
loved and British when that suited, but hey some times you got to do what you got to do to
make a buck.
Q BEST CLUB YOU ENJOYED RIDING WITH
DS I enjoyed Stoke that was wild.
Q ARE THEY ANY YOUNG TALENT IN NEW ZEALAND AT THE MOMENT
DS Don’t know to be honest as I don’t really go down to the track, I’m more into my Enduro
riding so that takes up my time.
