Tonights meeting being described as "a tough test" and may be it is, though last year's meeting against Birmingham attracted the same comment and look how that turned out. Tonight there are two much missed riders who were heart and soul Tigers - Claus and Danyon, one on either side - and two who disappointed as Tigers - Sedgmen and Etheridge, the latter a truly weird choice of guest for a meeting that ended our interest in the KO Cup that gear. Key for us will be how Steve and Paul go while Etheridge and Borke will be the barometer of Berwicks fortunes. I'm looking for us to get at least 50 and to bank our first bonus point.

Really great interview on BSN with Paul Honthy, explaining all the track changes. Well done insideout!

Claus unbeaten in four rides. Hard to justify why we didnt resign him. Redcar meeting now finished. Why do our meetings always take longerthan others to run

Cami needs to get his act together in deciding his gate positions for heat 15.

It’s concerning that it took Claus’ score to beat the Bandits. I agree that not retaining Claus looks a bad move and I also thought that when the team was announced. Steve and James need to use the banking more and Paul seems to lose it later in his races. Once they get more track time it should be better.

Seems to be being justified by the problems of Danes riding in their own league on a Wednesday which clashes with meetings at Poole and Oxford. Berwick (Borke) Redcar (Knudsen) and Scunthorpe (MPT) dont seem bothered by it, though they may be didn't have so many semi finals or finals at Poole and Oxford to arrange that we did last year. The promotion have made their decision but it's a bit early to say whether it was the right move. However we did get put of jail last night.
