The big one tonight! Our target for the play offs - to get a score starting with a "4" away and a score starting with a "5" at home. Chris and Ben return to the scene of their Pairs triumph, Vadim goes to Cowley for the first time but seems to adapt easily, Tom wasn't great last time, RR means a lot of rider for Lee which may well be the key to tonight so its very much in the balance, Just a pity its not being streamed.

Did I miss the prognosis on young Ace?

It was looking good at the interval after heat eleven but we've fallen away in the final heats. Still we've got 40 so need 51 at Ashfield. Its in the balance and quite a big ask.

A Scunthorpe win at Armadale on Friday could put Poole behind the black ball - mixing my sporting metaphors - and make our clash with Oxford at Ashfield "the final before the final"... or am I getting a bit ahead of myself?!

I'd have more than just a small chuckle if Poole went out, having picked seeds 5 and 6.

Their result last night was a big surprise - a really good one!

Their result last night was a big surprise - a really good one! I'd back us to have a very good shout, over two legs, against anyone apart from Poole, due to our recent WR form, so I really really hope they go out. It would also be very funny to see the usual suspects melting down on BSF.

I'd say that the Championship is now Glasgow's to lose, but keep up the pressure in the second leg, and very best wishes to the Tigers in anticipation.
Very surprised to learn of the result at Poole, but well done Scunthorpe. (Don't think too many tears will be shed if Poole do go out. There is a certain amount of envy at Poole's continual successes but in my opinion, the overbearing manner of their supporters (not all of them of course, but a hard core) is the main reason why their club is unpopular, their over-reaction to even minor criticism of their team, their track or the management being legendary.
You've had a great season at Glasgow, so enjoy what's left of it, and thanks for allowing me to muscle in on your website!
