Waking up to some sad news.....
Gordon was a wee bit before my time.
Any memories from the aulder heids?
We just saw him a Berwick, sitting about twenty feet away from us, signing and posing for selfies.
Just turned 70 but he looked in great shape.
You just never know 😔

He was at Ashfield too, can't remember it being mentioned over the PA. R.I.P. Gordon.

Remember him finishing silver medallist at Wembley in 1978 behind Ole Olsen

I think he rode for Oxford at Coatbridge in 1973, our last season in the BL and probably rode for Eastbourne at Blantyre2 in our last seasons there. However I have vivid memories of him taking Ivan Mauger from the back atm Wembley in 1978 when Mauger fell as he went under him.
