Used to go also when it was the Monarchs home. Always remember the Tigers were utterly dreadful there as visitors. Wonder if Cliftonhill could be a home for the Monarchs again for a spell now that Albion Rovers are consigned to the Lowland League and must be cash strapped.

Wouldn't think it's likely now the old first and second bends have been squared off with a degrading block behind the goals and there's houses in the upper car park that overlooked the back straight.

The stand was extended and the steels are on the home straight. A group from Ireland are allegedly looking to buy the football club and rename it Shamrock Albion Rovers.
