I've just seen on the blog on the Glaswegian Website that Mitch has been advised it will be another 6 weeks before his collarbone is strong enough to endure racing. I'm sure we all know you've been itiching to get back on the bikes again, hope to see you back racing soon Mitch.

Think I heard or read somewhere that there was a collection planned for him-hope it's soon, as it's around 2 months since he last rode for the Stripes, and with another 4/6 weeks out I'm guessing that he's surviving on fresh air right now!

Although the doctors recommended 6 weeks out, im planning on making a return to the bike at the end of the month in order to see how it feels. If im feeling up to racing then hopefully I'll be able to return. Im currently doing lots of training and also physio and the hospital are going to sign me up to a shoulder rehabilitation course through the hospital to help strengthen the muscles in my shoulder to protect my collarbone. Keep up to date with all the latest news on my website at www.daveyracing.co.ukCheers

I reckon young Mitch you could do with some more fat on you to protect the old bones. Muscle too. Get stuck in to the porridge and mince'n'totties every day.
Haste ye back, but not 'hasty back.'
