I reckon there are 27 riders who have worn the blue/gold, the red/white and the black/yellow. Guests not counted. Go on, have a go till the pubs re-open.

Jimmy Gallacher was never a Monarch but will give you Brian Murray so that makes 28. Have checked Monarchs Platinum Jubilee meeting prog for 2018 where a list of their riders is given.Yout others are all correct , coombes. Only

Thought Jimmy G rode for the Monarchs at Coatbridge in a double header but found it was Brian Murray in both meetings. Got it confused with the meeting at Hampden. Old age doesnt come itself! Will try Dean Felton and Roger Lambert next.

Eric Broadbelt, Kevin Little, Colin Farquharson. The latter could be the only rider to do Tigers/Monarchs/Bandits/Lions.

Pure guess category - Brian Turner, Shaun Bickley, Jason Straughan
Dont suppose they count - Brian Whaley who rode for Edinburgh at Newport and Exeter in 1967 - Brett Saunders - remember the night he rode for us at Shawfield

Brian Turner yes. I think a problem is the status of 'guests' in the past. I recall that you could sign a rider who was a free agent even for one meeting and he was officially yours for that time. Gordon McGregor rode a couple of meetings in the 60s for us. Adam McKinna I always felt was a permanent guest till he went Newcastle. Others I have are Wilie Lawson, Michal Rajkowski, James Birkinshaw, Matthew Wethers, Fernando Garcia.
Cant trace Ross Brady as a Bandit nor Jacko Irving asa Monarch.

Jacko signed for the Monarchs on loan in 1988 and rode 6 meetings. wwosbackup.proboards.com/thread/170/jacko-irving

Ross Brady seems to have had two meetings for Berwick in 1998, not sure if they were guest appearances or not though.

Ross Brady seems to have had two meetings for Berwick in 1998, not sure if they were guest appearances or not though. I think that's the difficulty with this, working out who actually qualifies. So many young riders have filled in for a meeting or two when they were breaking through. Kevin Little was a fully fledged Tiger at the start of 1989, but then transferred to Berwick after just a couple of meetings. I'd say he met the criteria, whereas someone like Adam McKinna (who probably rode in more meetings as a fill-in) maybe wouldn't. Interesting that we all found some obscure names and forgot about Aaron Summers!
