Lee didn't miss last week's match, but Stewart Dickson did due to a wedding. Lee wasn't well on Sunday when I spoke with him & I thought mgmt. should have tried to use R/R but probably too late in the day to get it approved.

The boys done good tonight-well earned point, and another good performance from Nick at reserve-pity Mitchell still not recovered as he got double figures there last year and two high scoring reserves might have produced a little more, especially for R/R. If as rumoured he's fit for action come July, maybe Tigers have a few options for the lower end of the team. Bit of competition might work well for us.

Taken from SpeedwayUpdates
Good comeback from what was basically a 5man team. R/R for Dicken producing 0 and Courtney firing a blank. Great win for John in ht 12 which gained us a point
Who knows if Screen never had that EF in 15 and Mcgowan scored his usual 11+ we might of won. However if I was offered a point before the meeting I would have tain it no bother.

Not a great deal of racing action tonight, Joe in a real class of his own and a real shame about the EF in heat 15 cos Josh also on the money. Nick is a real talent really got stuck in and a shame he couldnt hold on for the 5-1 in heat 12 but Hall just had a bit more experiance.
Lee was in the pits after the interval it was announced he wasnt well!

Like I said in another thread, we needed consistency throughout the team tonight to win (which I thought was possible). The overall score suggests we were not THAT far away! Once again we're let down by the USUAL SUSPECTS and a poor performance (by his incredible standards), Travis McGowan. I think we can all let him off now and again, he's been the main man since he joined. Joe Screen - Take a bow. Lee Dicken - Get well soon bud. John Branney - Usual Suspect. Travis McGowan - Poor by his standards. Josh Grajczonek - Great performance. Nick Morris - Can hold his head high, good display against very decent opposition. Jamie Courtney -

So who should replace Jamie, since you've obviously made him the scapegoat? You have 3.19 to play with

Wouldn't classify John as a "usual suspect" he won a vital ht 12 which gained us a point. Lets not forget he started at reserve this year with Workington and is now in the main body of our team, he did what was expected of him tonight. Of course it would of been great if he scored 7 or 8 but im not disapointed by his performance tonight. Can't disagree with the rest of your opinions though. Courtney has scored 1 point in his last 10 rides, that being a 3rd place after Josh fell last week at Stoke. After scoring 8+2 the other week at home to Redcar i thought he would be okay but its just been downhill from then. Shame really but I can't see him staying in the team much longer if he keeps up his current form. As for who we could bring in? I have no idea

Mitch might fit in come next month, depending on his fitness

Mitch might fit in come next month, depending on his fitness Im not sure if he would fit in, dont think he has got a new average this season so would still be on his 3.77 from last year. Bringing back Mitch wouldn't exactly fill me with confidence either right enough. I know he's showed glimpses of what he can do but he's not been consistant enough for me.

So who should replace Jamie, since you've obviously made him the scapegoat? You have 3.19 to play with Are you kidding? Scapegoat? I'm just looking at the facts! As Andy said 1 point from 10 races lol that's just atrociously poor form. As for replacing him, you could replace him with ANY competent rider because they couldn't possibly do any worse! My expectations are a lot higher than yours then! I EXPECT Joe Screen to pretty much max out every meeting. I EXPECT Travis McGowan to do the same! I know it's not possible but it's what I expect. I EXPECT Josh Grajczonek to perform like he did last night on a more frequent basis. I EXPECT better from John Branney. He's got to be looking to average higher than 5! If he's not improving then all we're doing is treading water! I EXPECT Jamie Courtney to be shown the door. To succeed you've got to have expectations! Demands! Place pressure on the riders to improve, that's all I'm getting at.
