Don't know what team the devils will appear with today after Lee Smart & Jesper Kristiansen crashing out at Berwick last night. It was a poor show from Plymouth with Ben Barker scoring an excellent 17 points. hopefully i'm wrong but I sense a Mildenhall/Danny King showing today. Hopefully Bunyan shows up a little better.
Incidentally the new rolling averages come into effect today, obviously no changes to our team line up as it only included the Berwick match. Interestingly (or Not) if Michal had finished 2nd in heat 2 as opposed to his fall he would have traded places with Theo going to reserve.

Mudgway for Kristiansen, R/R for Smart. The prospect of this meeting doesn't exactly fill me with excitement apart from Barker and maybe Bunyan. Wonder how much James (f) Cockle will score?

Easy win, pretty predictable.. Fair enough Plymouth had 2 guys injured but don't think that would have changed the scoreline by that much. Another 3 pts in the bag

A much better meeting than the score suggests. The track is slowly but surely starting to look really good, it seemed much less bumpy today. Can we say anything negative ? ......no ? Tuff im going to anyway.
If you stand on the back straight just coming out the 2nd turn it is impossible to hear the anything over the pa, can we get a speaker up there if possible ? thats all......

How far back do we need to go for a win that big, who did we beat? Well done to all the team, I know the opposition was weakened but there were improvements from some of the riders. No chance of Josh staying with us for 2012 ;D Bye for now, on the square

If you stand on the back straight just coming out the 2nd turn it is impossible to hear the anything over the pa, can we get a speaker up there if possible ? thats all...... There were a couple of speakers added, at the start of last weeks meeting, to the middle of the back straight, however one of them was actually broken, assuming there is still cable & subject to getting a speaker they might be able to add one towards the pits end, it would be mounted on the banking behind the track, as the cable now runs round the outside of the stadium rather than round the track itself. I thought it was a good meeting, and yet more heats showing that there are now a few lines in each bend, the bump on the entry to the 3rd bend seems to have been ironed out, the only slight issue was the dust, but the riders were requesting that the track wasn't watered.

Excellent professional performance from our lads. Plymouth were truly abysmal. Just embarrassingly poor. It got to the stage where I was cringing at the scoreline. Way way out of their depth.

yesterday was a good meeting the score didnt reflect this as it looked very one way joe wasnt happy with his engine he was trying some new stuff on it and it didnt work so it will be back to what is was for next week chritian was superb and showed that his confidence is growing with a nice outside pass ,theo was trying a new set up engine wise to get an engine for home meeting and by the looks of it things are going in the right direction , jame is still not quite happy with his home form but is looking better week by week and assures me that the old grievsy will be back very soon the raj is looking more like the rider we no he is and with some superb first and second bends showed he is starting to get to grips with the place and that all out raj style of riding is back , nick is starting to settle down into the track and towards the end off the meeting looked fast and very stylish a couple off more home meeting should see him right back to his exciting self , what can you say about josh he is going from strength to strength with sutch a great style and the races with ben barker was top stuff he is deffo vying for that number 1 race jacket and who knows it could be his very soon , as for the track it held up well considering how hot it was we put down 2000 liters during the meeting and it could have done with more but at the riders request they didnt want any more put down so all i can say is sorry for the dust that was there it was difficult to get the water down in the right places as the wind was very strong and blowing it away to the side at the third bend , on a brighter not i did manage to give mickael max a soaking

Regarding the speaker on the back straight... it was buzzing quite badly at the first meeting against the Bandits... you can hear it on my video (no that's not the new silencers) it was the speaker. www.youtube.com/watch?v=5k-cQt-a0Lo
