According to speedway updates Edinburgh have signed Lee Dicken and Kyle Howarth to replace Ashley Morris and Jay Herne.

Pleased for Lee to be getting a team berth, hope he has a successful and safe season ... not too successful riding against us though!

Looks like Mr Campbell has changed his tune as a few short weeks ago Big Lee was the "wrong type of rider" to race for our friends in the East.
Delighted to see the Funky one back racing again ;D
I'm sure he will score solidly at reserve, especially round the Dump.

It was clear after Newport, a change or changes needed to be made - we scored the compulsory 1pt from 8 rides of the reserves and they really never looked likely to be in it. Jay was so far off the pace it was untrue and he had Craig Boyce in his pit corner. Ashley just suffers from gateritis! I'm sure he'll be seen in the not too distant future and has a big career ahead if he can get to the first turns, level. But welcome to Lee and Kyle. Both astute signings and ones that'll make us stronger at the bottom end. Kyle will score what both Jay and Ashley did and Lee will bring valuable experience to the bottom end of the team. Sure Lee will be welcomed at Armadale and will hopefully enjoy his time there moreso than 2010 when he visited with you boys!!!

Good to see Big Funky has a team, I am sure he will do ok for them over there - but I have no doubt that our reserves will be fine against him both home and away.

From the Monarchs website --- "On the other side of the pits, Monarchs will be without Kalle Katajisto who has also been called away to international duty and Lee Dicken who has a pre-arranged engagement elsewhere. The result is that there a lot more variables to ponder than normal, not least track conditions now that the drought has ended."
