In a strange way the delay to the start caused by the big queue outside was almost pleasing. Obviously the track changes had generated a lot of interest, as had the new team. It may well be that the delay was down to the traditional first meeting surge in crowd numbers, but it should be considered that the adult admission of £15.50 is an awkward price to administer. Not everyone has the correct money, so £4.50 has to be returned. While it would be good if we all showed up with the exact money, perhaps we should make a point of having 50pence in change - £20 plus 50 pence given in and a fiver received back. Would that speed things up ? Just a thought.

Good idea! I take it the other turnstyles are knackered?

Could also speed things up on the way out by opening the gate between the fourth bend and main stand.

Why not have a 'Correct money' gate, maybe at the pits entrance ? i had £15.50 ready in my hand on Sunday.

Maybe with the program costing £2.50, you not buy your program when you pay to get in?

Yes Poncho, I had wondered about including a program - 15.50 +2.50 = 18.00. Don't know if that would be a help or a hinderance to quick entry.
Over to the promotion as to whether any of this helps
