First of all this meeting is NOT being streamed and the Berwick website has issued a scam warning about any link claiming to offer it www.berwickspeedway.com/news/matchday-update-2/Now to the meeting itself - who is going to win? Not sure, it could go either way. Berwick have had more meetings and I thjnk it's the first of the season for Lee, Ace, Paul and James. Chris should go well around or as should Leon, though it might be a strange night for him. Hume and Kemp could be the key. We could be in trouble if they are in form. Similarly Steve could be crucial for us. It'll be close but we might have to settle for keeping the score down to secure the bonus point at Ashfield...Or am I being too pessimistic?

Personally, I think you’re maybe being OPTimistic……………hope I’m wrong though.

I hope we've learned from last year shenanigans at Plymouth and make sure we get an accredited sample to be independently tested. And if/ when it proves negative we demand a rerun if necessary. Neil Vacher should remember he came off second best in his tangle with us over for Eastbourne fracas. Remember Kyle Howarth!

Get Eddie Hearn on speed dial. None of his boxers' drugs bans ever stick.

Our legal eagle did quite a good job after the Eastbourne fracas. Might be an idea to get him again?

Perhaps there's a wee light in the tunnel. Let's not forget Alain Baxter, he was royally shafted.

Are painkillers on the banned list? If so then a short ban would seem likely. If not then the whole process needs examining. You can't have riders being declared "ineligible" despite not breaking any rules and if this is the case should the meeting be declared void as Glasgow were wrongly deprived of a rider?

I would suspect that certain painkillers would be on the banned list due to soporific side effects.
