" If you continue to do what you've always done, you'll continue to get what you've always got". Once again while things seem quite straightforward for the Premiership, our fixture list will have the BSN and KO Cup semi finals and final to be slotted into the fixture list.... and it didn't work out well this year. So things need to be done differently.
The BSN is a complex competition possibly requiring all fixtures to be completed before the highest second can be eastablished. So one delayed meeting messes uo the whole competition. If it is going to be regionalised as was done this year PLEASE make sure these fixtures aren't repeated in the KO Cup. Poole seem to race Plymouth every week early on.
Blank weeks need to be coordinated. There is no point having a blank week for a BSN section meeting to be restaged if the other two teams in the section are racing that night, as happened this year. Dates need to be declared as "Reserved" and riders told not to arrange anything else for that night - including holidays! We need a fixtures secretary with the power to name dates if clubs cant/won't agree.
Fixtures should be drawn up initially to finish by early August - all eight league meetings plus reserved dates for BSN and KO Cup progression should fit in in the 18 or so available weeks. Not holding my breath though!

Posts on BSF suggests our 2024 line up may be Harris, Steve Worrall, Flint, Pearson, Starke, Complin and Pijper which looks like it comes to 38.00. It's just speculation but it's hard to get excited about that line up, though most teams will be similarly dull. While the averages will go up from 38 to 42 over the season, only Pijper and possibly Pearson look to be on an upward projection.

Some might say that an inferior product, which should be costing the promotion less to fund, should cost less money to buy.

Agree with your sentiments though not sure there is a huge saving, if any at all.
Chris, Lee and Ace will no doubt be on the same or higher points rate as this season and will surely up their averages as the 38 point unwind to centre on 42 over the season. So higher costs
Worrall will be on a similar rate to Basso and Flint ditto with Vissing. So no change.
However Starke and Pearson will be on less than Nowak and Brennan and will score less too. So a saving but it has to be offset by the increase for Chris, Lee and Ace.

There are further stadium developments planned, not least of which is the exciting news of a training track. I wonder what size that training track might be, it'll need to be fairly big to provide any decent reflection of the real thing.

Not holding my breath though! And so it begins - Scunthorpe v Workington never got started due to a waterlogged track. Scunthorpe's only blank Friday is April 26 when Workington are at Redcar in the KO Cup. Already we're looking at a team having to ride on an off night early in the season to keep competitions on schedule. Really we need blank Fridays for all clubs, one in April and one in May, not randomly scattered throughout these weeks.
