Richie Worrall and Steve Boxall. Meant it was Plymouth 5 riders v Berwick's 6. Makes you wonder how much more is going on ? Was Boxall not 'done' before for refusing a test ?

A 2 year ban in 2018 for refusing to provide a sample and "doing a bunk", quite rightly treated the same as complying and failing. www.kentonline.co.uk/sittingbourne/sport/boxall-banned-188036/

Make of this what you wish..... It does seem strange that he was (allegedly) not allowed a second test, considering what is at stake - even if he was made to pay for it himself. I don't know the rules but this was obviously NOT a laboratory environment so mistakes / contaminants could come into play. Depending on the substance allegedly found, it may be obvious from the private test results that he is innocent but that may be like getting a referee to change his mind. I have to say that I have absolutely no time for riders who take anything that could impair their judgement and, if guilty should be banned - I just feel that the authorities may have left themselves open to criticism by their actions. I don't know Ritchie but always felt that he was quite professional. Steve Boxall seems to have accepted the situation and, with his previous record, should be banned for a long time if the result is confirmed.

The problem is that Ritchie failed the test on the day that counts. He'd literally have to film himself pissing into a bottle on the day of the test and then that bottle would have to be filmed 24/7 until it arrived at the "proper" lab for this alt test to have any validity whatsoever.
