glasgow guilty as charged speculating about james grieves signing for redcar....not a peep out of redcar consortium or local press.....so where do you get off by accusing other teams when you are doing exactly the same thing.....please don't be hypocritical and do think before you hit that keyboard. Glasgow haven't said anything about Grieves going to Redcar-it's the fans forum saying it-if you want any news, come here for it. By the way, if you don't want him....... JAMES TO REDCAR....as posted on this forum....thats not news that is speculation and interference from another team...whether on official website or unofficial forum it's still interference in my book.......oh and of course we would love james back.....bager aint good enough to polish his steel shoe!

<snip> a week before henning bager signed for redcar the announcer at rye house had said that ulrich ostergaard would be in the line up for redcar in their next home meeting....whats that all about? That's the danger of giving out incorrect information, however when it comes from a Promotion or over the mic at a meeting people assume its official. Yes, Berwick's information turned out to be correct, and *maybe* the information on James & John could be. It should be up to the Promotion concerned to announce any changes once approved by the BSPA, when they choose to, rather than other Promotions to make the information public, having heard Stewart at Ashfield on Sunday he was extremely unhappy the information went public before the Glasgow Promotion chose. I have no doubt he will be of the same opinion as regards to the news from Workington this week. In my opinion the only people that should announce anything like that other than the Promotion would be the BSPA. As for the posts on here regarding James & Redcar, I've always taken forum posts with a pinch of salt, unless there is something official to back it up. Some of the people who use this forum know James very well, he is based in Paisley and works for one of the Glasgow Promoter's businesses, and may well be privy to information as to whether he has signed any deals with other teams, but until something is official is released its all just speculation.

Would you like me to add "SPECULATION:" to the topic title? thats up to you mate....with the season redcar have had so far the fans don't want to be let down even more by being let down once again.....i suppose we are both in the same boat when it comes to team building...you are hoping screeny will kick start your season and we are hoping the possible inclusion of grievesy will do the same for us...fingers crossed and no hard feelings!

It wisnae me! Just work on the basis that supporters are not obliged to work to the same principle re club owners.Seems a logical move (albeit James will now have around 350 extra milea a week for home meetings) if Glasgow don't want him, he has a young family to support. Hope it doesn't affect his testimonial as when it takes place he will unfortunately be an ex tiger, so some folk may not come or sponsor an event/race. Seems an easy way out when a rider is binned because he is injured and there is another lined up. It could be argued that James deserves more support than others and I certainly subscribe to that view.
