Obviously not a lot of options out there for the promotion. Branney is near enough local - as far as speedway goes - so seems to be a logical signing. He strikes me as the type of rider who scores well at Derwent Park whilst in the reserve berth, but tends to struggle when he enters the main body of team. He would have been a good signing at reserve, but having him in the 1 to 5 still leaves the team with a long tail, in my opinion.

Lots of froing and even some toing at the Tigers den going on. Yet, and not for the first time, we hear most of this from 'other sources.' I reckon the official site is one of the worst in the league for not keeping it's supporters up to speed(way.) It's a poor show if you ask me. Alright so nobody's asking, but it's still a poor show. Considering the amount of activity going on.

There is also the fact that teams are not allowed to announce any team changes until they are officially approved by the BSPA.
That's why Joe & Nick's inclusion in tonight's abandoned match took a couple of days to announce, the promotion unable to announce it on Sunday as the BSPA had not given its go ahead.

How would it be if Celtic were sending out stories about who is going to sign for Rangers. Other clubs should worry about their own teams before telling us who is signing for their neighbours. As Kirstie says on her site that is two weeks that Berwick and now Worky have released info that has nothing to do with them

yes that also includes glasgow...guilty as charged....all the speculation about james grieves signing for redcar....oh look not a peep out of the redcar consortium or local press.....please don't be hypocritical and do think about what you post before you hit that keyboard. Well to be fair, Berwick at least announced this via their Official press release, which is a different thing to, speculative posts, by fans, on an Unofficial forum, like here. Yes there has been no news about James from Redcar and likewise for John from Glasgow, but as stated earlier teams are not allowed to announce changed until authorized by the BSPA, that will never stop fans speculating about them on forums. However other promotions taking it upon themselves to announce that "a major signing", for another club, or similar story is, in my opinion out of order.

Glasgow haven't said anything about Grieves going to Redcar-it's the fans forum saying it-if you want any news, come here for it. By the way, if you don't want him.......
