I dont seem to understand when the riders get pulled back after someone supposedly jumps at the start ? sometimes yeah fair enough a rider does move and in all fairness the race should be pulled back... but sometimes riders judge it at there and risk and if they break the tapes well that's part of the risk but on several occasions I've seen riders not jump at all but just time it perfection and because they fly away the ref pulls it back ? as if there is a rule saying all riders must enter the 1st turn equally... dont know if anyone else has picked up on this but i just thought i should say something to get some opinions

in my opinion if you aren't moving before the tapes go up and you just happen to anticipate it just right then it should be allowed.
also if you are rolling and make a mess of it then tough, too often a race is pulled back when the offending rider actually messed up.

Exactly, but its like the rider isn't moving at all and they just as you say anticipate it and fly from the tapes but nope they get pulled back
