It's the same every week. All I can say is thank god for Travis McGowan, we'd be the laughing stock of British Speedway without him.
I'm worried about the sheer lack of points elsewhere, the team is full of mediocrity.
Don't get me started on Penfold. Whoever recommended this dud should be shot. 2 points from about 5 meetings sums him up. I personally will drive him to the airport.
Can see Redcar getting something next week, all it takes is for McGowan to have an off day.

You say we " would " be the laughing stock i think we already are after the performance on friday night. ... But none the less sensational from Trav, keep it up !

Grim viewing today. Lasts in all of the first 12 heats and very little support for Travis. Scunthorpe looked solid but unspectacular and, again, a team come up with a reserve who looks like a world beater. Or, at least, a Tiger beater. To lose by 10 points at home to them only goes to emphasise the problems we have.
I feel very sorry for the lad Penfold. He is clearly not ready for this standard of speedway and it can't be doing anything for his confidence to be so far off the pace. Hopefully a season back home will allow him to develop. We can't afford to have him in the team any longer, I'm afraid, not with half of the team so off form.
Hopefully the re-jig of the side this week will also gee up the guys who have shaded off so badly of late.
A wee win at Kings Lynn and we'l be up and running!

With it being Redcar next week I wouldn't bet against him making it 3 in a row. Thought last weeks maximum was easy enough but today no one was even close to beating the Moose.
Class of his own.

I didnt stay for the rerun of the last race, I was so hacked off Well done to Travis I am looking forward to seeing the redeclared line up but will it just be Michael Penfold for Nick morris??? I reckon we need more than that I am ok with Travis, Josh,James and Jamie is picking up points so I would keep him, we need more from Lee. Any off night from a heat leader we have no one to pick up the slack.
Bye for now, on the square

Also wouldn't be suprised if there were more changes when the new averages come into place.

Screen for Greives, not sure I want James to leave, he is not the problem. I feel that the heat leaders we have are OK, we need some reserves / second strings other teams seem to have plenty of Anyway onwards and upwards, see you next week
Bye for now, on the square

We can do little about the team for Wednesday as we're still on last season's averages, so the only way we can do it is Screen for Grieves and Morris for Penfold. Our new averages dont start until Saturday so another change is possible BUT it's difficult to see who that could be as there is nobody obvious to come in, average would need to be 5.60ish.Looking from last year, Chris Mills, Simon Walker, Jesper Kristiansen,Charles Wright, maybe even Robbie Kessler or how about Joe Tabaka!!!! could fit

Got to say I was a bit disappointed at the match yesterday. There was quite a poor crowd, not much racing and I don't think the atmosphere was particularly nice... saying that I can understand why if there are rumours flying about about jobs being on the line... I know the team needs to be strengthened, but I'm quite disappointed that about the plans not being kept under wraps, I don't know how they got out so I'm not blaming anyone... I hope the morale picks up in the Glasgow team although I know that's going to be hard just now. As for the dump.... I wish it was a bad day at the office as I certainly wouldn't want averages being manipulated for the sake of other riders being dropped... I hope I don't sound too naive... anyway I'm getting off the topic. I wish Josh and James a speedy recovery and hope the team do well and have safe trips to Kings Lynn and Berwick
