Yes it seems that jamie is off form and it cant carry on like that, however we have Nick who is scoring and boy am I glad to have at last a free scoring reserve, its been a long time coming. Anyway Mitchell for Jamie???, cant do any worse but I am not sure if he will make it at Ashfield, hope he proves me wrong.
Bye for now, on the square

Agree that Mitchell needs to kick on, but hope that if he gets back in the team, folk will give him a chance as this forum hasn't been too kind to other riders either not scoring heavily every week or taking time to get back in the swing after injury.

I, too, hope Mitchell gets back into the team - think his average allows him to replace Jamie - just!!!! However I do think that Mitchell has been shown far more patience than most over the last two years. Any word on how Lee is? Hopefully he is ok - but if he is likely to be out for sometime, then the team make up is back up for examination, although I don't know what the options are

I spoke to Mitchell in the pits after his outing he said his shoulder seemed ok just needed a bit of bike time to get up to speed and was hoping for a few run outs this week if the weather holds up

Good luck, Mitchell, delighted to see you back in the Stripes and hope you get the rub of the green as you haven't had it so far-hope people remember you haven't raced for 3 months if you don't get 2 maximums in the 1st 2 matches!

Excellent stuff, welcome back Mitchell. It's a perfect situation for you, no pressure at all Jamie Courtney was scoring hee haw so any points are a bonus. If Mitch can get anywhere near his best form we've got a very good reserve pairing.

Delighted to see you back big man. You looked really good on Sunday. Hope you get some luck soon, but also, may I say, if it's of any help at all, can I suggest that you be LESS of the 'good guy' we all know you are...but on the track? This is what I reckon is holding Mitch back. I see an accomplished technician now, but I also see a rider not happy with the 'sharp elbows' routine speedway riders need. Ove Fundin was a skinny bloke but my, those elbows. Determined as hell HE was going to win. There's an old saying in football. (Pardon the mixed metaphors.) If you go into a tackle expecting to get hurt...you'll get hurt. Same I think with speedway. If you go into a bend NOT expecting to 'win' that bend, you won't. Or not willing to mix it. If you go 'into the tackle' determined that YOU'RE going to win it, chances are you will. Plus less chance of injury. Psychological intit? Anyroadsup Mitch, I reckon that £250 for my consultancy fees, plus a free season pass for Ashfield should suffice. Oh and 10% of increase in earnings....if and when you do as you are told. Or else. ;D
