What was the outcome of the rained off and not restaged Glasgow v Rye House league match? I have a note that Rye were awarded the win but the league table doesn't support this, rather one point awarded to each team with the bonus remaining unclaimed. Anyone recall?

Speedway Star said: "Third place has now been confirmed as Glasgow's final position following the decision to award one point to both the Tigers and their scheduled last meeting visitors Rye House. With no bonus point being decided it means Glasgow have finished one and half points behind second placed Berwick and five points adrift of the new champions."
Neil Macfarlane had asked the SCB to allow the score from the original abandoned meeting to stand, which was 39.5 to 26.5 when abandoned.

The Rye House spot on the Speedway Researcher confirms that meeting could not be restaged, a point to each and no bonus. Heat details (as were) are listed.

Thanks for the replies. I had only looked at the tail end of the Rye House file so missed the info.

Looking to clarify the result of heat 2 of the reserve league match at Edinburgh, 24th April.
Speedway Star reported Grieves, Blackie, Taylor, Fosbury (fell), McDonald (exc, tapes), 69.8
However the yearbook awards McDonald an 'N' which could indicate he was excluded under 2 minutes.
Anyone clear this one up?

Further queries for 1992:
10/05 Glasgow v Edinburgh Reserve League was abandoned after heat 3 - reason?
20/06 Berwick v Glasgow Reserve League - confirmation of Glasgow 1-4 (can't work out order from Star report!).
30/08 Glasgow v Newcastle - confirm each 1-7 as Glasgow: Lawson, Powell, Collins, Nagy, Bowes, Olsen & Straughan. Newcastle: Thorpe, Jeffrey, Norman, Howe, Bargh, Timmo, Nagel. Also was a reserve match scheduled for the second half?
04/10 Glasgow v Exeter - heat 2, did Palmer or Humphreys retire? (programme conflicting with the Star).

Thanks.
The Reserve Team raced at least two away challenge matches at Stoke 18/07 and Exeter 20/07. There may have been others. I can't find any further info in the home programmes I have. I've got all the reserve league matches, it's just info on any challenges I need.

Thanks for your help.
That win at Exeter was Tigers' first at the County Ground.

20 June Berwick v Tiger Cubs 1.Paul Coward (1+1,2) 3+1 2.James Grieves (221)5 3.Stuart Coleman (FR) 0 4.Wayne Park (FX,02F0) 2 heat details available if required The averages in the Speedway Star track review give Coward three rides. It was the only match he appeared in for us. Obviously your programme shows he took two rides - anyone got a second opinion? The Star match report read like this: Ht 1: Lowrie, Grieves, Coleman (fell), Rathbone (fell), 62.1 Ht 2: (rerun) Readshaw, Nagel, Coleman (ret), Park (f, exc), 59.9 Ht 3: Readshaw, Grieves, Lowrie, Park, 60.5 Ht 4: Nagel, Park, Coward, Rathbone (fell), 61.2 Ht 5: Lowrie, Coward, Rathbone (ret), Park (fell), 61.4 Ht 6: Nagel, Readshaw, Grieves, Park, 60.0
