Newport are a pretty poor team aswell tbh, the fact Edinburgh's 2 reserves nver beat anyone backs that up pretty well.. But you can only beat what's infront of you, so well done Monarchs. I don't mind such banter, if you can give it out then you need to be able to take it back! Mon the Tigers!

To be fair this was the 1st time this season that all Edinburgh's top 5 done there job. It was a good away win but there will be much sterner tests on the road. Incidentally Newport have lost all 4 home PL matches and Edinburgh are the 1st team to fail to hit 50.
Where do Edinburgh go from here? there top 5 all done exceptionally well, and they only won by 7 points. I don't see any more points getting squeezed out of them, home or away. they are really going to have to get a capable reserve, Tabaka may or may not be the answer. Lawson would've made that team a challenger for top 6 at least.

A gift for our friends in the East Must have been well thumbed to recruit a rider who "isn't the type of rider who is required".
