Our away form has been variable from a great win at Scunthorpe to a poor display at Poole, with a disappointing result at Redcar and comfortable wins at Berwick and Edinburgh. A few weeks ago tonight's meeting would have been expected to be a comfortable win - heavens even Edinburgh won there - but the Brummies have rung the changes bringing in the injury prone Nielsen and the searching for form Starke. With both teams heat leader trios looking fairly equal, the performance of this pair compared with our two may well be decisive. Claus returns to the scene of an unhappy season possibly with a point to prove while Marcin rides at Perry Barr for the first time. Brummies have the upper hand at reserve with the in form Bowtell at six. We have Lee Complin. The battle between young guns Hagon and Pijper should be interesting.
All in all I'm going for a 47-43 Tigers win . What do you guys think? The meeting is being streamed by Birmingham so we can watch it live tonight.

We have won on our last three visits there but I fear, as I always do, that run will come to an end. Birmingham are a lot stronger now and Bowtell at reserve should score a barrowload. And of course the battle of the team managers will be fascinating . Hope for the best, fear for the worst.

Dickson will have them wound up to within an inch of their lives. Watch out for reserve switches all over the place!

Anyone else trying the Birmingham stream? I've tried on three different devices, cleared caches, changed browser. Started of not too badly then started buffering and now, nothing.

Snap! Had a look on the Speedway Updates page and seems that it's widespread. I've messaged using the TV site's chat function. Nothing back so far. £11.99 down the drain I reckon.

A bit like letting Norman Collier do the photography! A phyrric victory probably. Have emailed them suggesting a refund if £5 would not be inappropriate despite their restrictive terms and conditions and that taking future streams fron them will depend on what action, if any, they are prepared to take. Not holding my breathe though!

A good win for us nonetheless despite a huge stroke of luck with Morris being absent and Bowtell taking his rides. It had the potential to be a tough meeting but Morris's absence seemed to suck the life out of the Brummies. Some decent racing on show when the stream started working again.

Some quite salacious rumours on BSF regarding the Nick Morris "unfit to ride" situation. It'll come out in the wash. I hope that's not his career blow-n.

Not holding my breathe though! Got a reply at midnight confirming my refund as requested. Pretty prompt action. As to the meeting, it looks like we were in the right place at the right time. Only four points from the rides covering Nick Morris and Bowtells rides used up. Otherwise he would have replaced Hagon, Nielsen and possibly Starke. With Morris it would have been a very close run thing. Great race by Harris and Brennan. Good that Basso didn't give Starke a deserved slap after their race. Possibly it could have led to a ban after the Cook fracas.

Many congratulations on your win at Perry Barr last Wednesday. The Brummies were never in with a chance as soon as it became known that Nick Morris wouldn't be allowed to ride, but to be honest, I don't think his presence would have changed the result, although the Tigers winning margin obviously wouldn't have been so wide.
It was a pleasure to meet up with a number of Glasgow supporters again and I can really commiserate with those who travelled down to Plymouth on the previous day only to find that the meeting was off when they got there, but they all seemed philosophical about it, and not downhearted.
Fate seems to have it in for Birmingham over the last couple of seasons, but I live in hope that the Nick Morris business will be the last thing that is thrown at us at least for the time being, and that our fortunes will finally change for the better. (I won't say what I think about all this until we hear Morris' version - but I think most people will have come to their own conclusion!)
I wish the Tigers all the best for the rest of the season - don't let that Poole lot win the league again!

Thanks, Brian, for your comments. What a change from the moronic crap on BSF. Hope the Brummies make that 6th spot.

Got this response from the streaming company.
"Thanks for your patience in response to Wednesday night's streaming difficulties. At this time we have responded to most (but probably not all) messages sent after our second service update email and will continue to go through them over the next 24 hours.
After consulting with the club we have been asked to credit all viewers with a complimentary view on the Brummies TV platform - this will be valid this season and next. If you do not feel this is satisfactory to resolve the situation please get in touch with us by reply.
Additionally, the full fixture VOD was uploaded/replaced yesterday and can be viewed as part of your purchase on Brummies TV (here)
Our next Brummies home fixture is on 19th July vs. Poole Pirates and it is intended that this credit will be added to viewers' streaming accounts ahead of that date. The credit will be instantly applied to the next full price purchase made and no discount codes are required. To re-iterate, this credit can be used for any streamed race this year or next."
