Season Tickets are now on sale www.glasgowtigers.org/2020-season-tickets-on-sale-now/A standard admission including booking fee comes in at £226.60 for 17 meetings. Last year it was £215.20 for 15 meetings so I think our "blurb" undersells it by stating prices have been held on a pro rata basis. This year's tickets are even cheaper surely. Not quite sure why the meetings are described as " 11 regular home league matches, 5 home northern section league matches" Is the Northern Section being treated as an additional competition?

Don't think that the Northern section of the Championship is a separate competition. They have just described the 16 league meetings in a different way.

Probably not, but why describe the season in this convoluted way, rather than just 16 league meetings.

Fair point Coombes. I'm glad the distraction of the Shield semis etc has been dispensed with.

Gather that had Newcastle not been racing in 2020 there would have been two league sections - north and south - presumably with top three from each going into the play offs.

Just received a prompt reply from the Glasgow promotion regarding 2020 season tickets. They said that "it's too early to say at the moment as we don't yet know whether we are going to have a season or when it's likely to start. If the season doesn't happen then we will offer people the option of a full refund or to transfer their season ticket to the 2021 season."
