If Nicol is at 4, will Sedgmen be at 2, reuniting his pairing with Craig Cook which was very productive for "them" a few years ago. Bailey will alternate between 6 and 7 surely. Surely not Sedgmen!? Has been dreadful the last two seasons he’s been here. Ironically his only half decent match last season was at Ashfield.

Sedgmen is very much a " mood" rider. He goes well when things are going well otherwise..... If it's true that he's coming, we need to show him some love and keep him sunny side up. Are we also in for Ostergaard and Wells? If so the theme seems to be getting guys on what are hoped to have been low averages in 2019. Its hard to know if 2019 was just a blip or whether they are on a downward path. Prob ably worth a punt even if only two out the three come good.

All new riders should be shown love......well, initially anyway....lol If indeed those three riders (all gambles in my opinion) are signed along with ones already in, I’m struggling to complete a really competitive team if Craig Cook is to be included........Unless, of course, their form can somehow be rejuvenated.

Sedgmen is indeed very moody though seems to have fallen out with the 0131 after last season so that would be a good start to being a Tiger if its true. He did form part of an exceptional opening partnership with Cook along the M8 back in the day so perhaps its hoped he could recreate that. Hopefully all is revealed this weekend.

Wells is on a decent average though can he bridge the gap to become second heat leader.

Main worry about Wells was he achieved a 7pt average whilst averaging 9.94 at Armadale and only 5.89(without bonus) away. Sedgmen Ive already mentioned! Ostergaard certainly finished last year better than he started, so there might be hope there, plus he has a good record around Ashfield . He would be our third heat leader on 5.98!

Interesting point about Wells home figure being so much higher than his away one, particularly as the fall in his average was being put down to a shoulder injury which apparently hampered him on tight Armadale track.
Sedgmen is another whose home figures were considerably higher than his road scores while the other rumoured signing Ostergaard actually has an away average which is higher than his home one, although his average, such as it is, was boosted by a spell at reserve in the latter weeks of the season.

Certainly Wells did miss matches due to the injury including the league match at Ashfield. It may well be that Armadale has such an effect on away riders that even with a dodgy shoulder he could still do enough to get double figures. He is a gater so that would help
