Was looking at Kyle's figures and getting a quite different average than the BSPA website figures. Can anyone confirm my meeting scores
Pts (excel BPs) Rides V Berwick H 8 5 V Berwick A 4 4 V Edinburgh H 7 5 V Newcastle H 8 5 V Newcastle A 0 5 V Eastbourne H 8 5 V Eastbourne A 3 3 V Edinburgh A 5 5 ------- -------- Total 43 37
Web site shows 39 points and 36 rides and separate home and away figures are different too. I'm not sure if the website figures are part of the Green Sheet calculations. I don't know if anyone in the promotion actually checks the GSAs when they are issued but possibly they should. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks Benbulben, much appreciated. The difference is likely to be minimal if carried through to the Green Sheets, where it will be diluted by being part of the 20 meetings calculation but these days even the second decimal place can be pivotal. Interestingly only Craig Cook has had more rides than Kyle, underlining the young lads importance to the team. Thank goodness for fire alarms!

If you examine the referee's score card on the British Speedway website there seems to be an ST total for each rider. I don't know what ST stands for, but it looks like it might be only programmed rides are included for calculating averages.

I've no idea what ST is either. As you say it seems to reflect only programmed rides and it seems to include Bonus Points too. If it was used for the averages, each rider's rides would be the number of meetings times four which isn't the case as only James figures do this. As I can get back to all the other Tigers figures, it looks like Kyle's ones are wrong.

I've got numerous discrepancies on the averages as at July 3 when compared with the BSPA ones on their website. I've got Craig down for 61 rides from 12 meetings - 6 at Berwick in the CS meeting there and 5 at all the others. BSPA only show 60. Can anyone confirm my figure please.

You are correct, coombes. He scored 16 at Berwick so he must have had six rides. Double checked with speedway updates.Definitely six. Official figures = crap.

Thanks Benbulben. Sometimes the BSPA correct their mistakes at the next calculation but does our club ever check the Green Sheet figures? Would be happy to send them spreadsheets.

Thanks djw. Looks like I got Jack Smith's scores instead of Connor's.
Kyle is fast catching up with James and may well be higher by the July cut off as James has a couple of high scores from last year which are due to drop out of the 20 meetings used in the calculation.
