The Victorian Championship result means that young Lidsey and Ryan Douglas will be eligible for visas next year. Given Lidsey's quality he looks like the next in line of young Aussie stars. Should we try and get him before some other team given that he was impressive in the U21 meeting. Now, coombes, specifically for you, would he disrupt our averages to any great extent? What would he come in at ? Douglas might qlso be worthv of a go as I personally feel he has underachieved a bit.

Ryan Douglas Im not sure about, he never seemed to learn when he had a run of guesting for us, constantly locking up on turn 2 where no one else does.

Jaimon Lidsey has established himself in the Polish Division Two, finishing in tenth place in the top 20 averages on 8.00. For comparison, David Bellego finished on 8.20 and Nick Morris on 9.18 I think that it's already been mentioned that his connection with Polish speedway may preclude his participation in joining a track in the UK.

Benbulben. Haven't checked the final GSAs but think Cook, Vissing, Starke, Lunna, a 5.20 assessed rider,Shanes and Thomas would fit in under the current points limit, possibly with a bit to spare, so we could possibly go for an upgrade on one of the riders mentioned. Time to wait and see which teams declare tbeyre racing next year... or possibly those that aren't.
