Edinburgh have said that supporters, who have bought advance tickets for their leg of the Scottish Cup, can use them at any future meeting at Armadale. Does this apply to Tigers fans going through for the League Cup meeting there on April 20? It seems reasonable to expect it will. However if Glasgow continue to sell tickets for the Scottish Cup meeting, and retain the revenue, then they will be getting monies for both meetings at Armadale. More anomalies thrown up by theunnecessarily complicated Scottish Cup ticketing arrangements. i

Edinburgh now confirm they have no intention of staying the meeting before September. Just abandon this meeting and allow any fans who bought tickets to use them for the league match at Armadale later in the season.

Doesn't look like it will be held in September now, although it surely could have been run tomorrow. We would have been without Craig Cook but that was the case for our league meeting too.

With Edinburgh now out of the KO Cup, perhaps they'll now get around to staging their leg of the Scottish Cup for which Tigers fans bought tickets more than six months ago. They currently show Friday 19th October as "Reserved" so possibly then, but what about this Friday when neither team has a fixture. Our boys could do with some action ahead of our play offs against Workington.

With CC not gonna be there will we use R/R ? At first I thought Barker....injured.....then Aaron...injured....then Nicholls injured....then Schlein injured.....who else can do a number then ...Howarth ? Doolan ? Stevie Worrall ? or just a simple r/r ?... not hugely bothered tbh as I wont be going via a train which is actually well handy to swinging Armadale.

I'm not bothered either. On a cold, probably wet, evening I'll think of something better to do.

Richard Lawson and Carl Wilkinson booked as guests for Craig Cook and Nathan Greaves on Friday, which shows we are taking the tie seriously. If I was a Lakeside fan, I'm not sure if be too happy about my number one driving the length of the country to ride the night before the play off semis on consecutive nights.

Good to hear. Would have preferred RL staying this season as he has been in fine form. Think he moved more south and travel was going to be a drag. 2019 ?

Interesting thought Benbulben. I take it the October Green Sheets are the team building ones for next year, if not they must be very close to them. RL is almost a point and a half less than Craig Cook which would give us some useful wiggle room. If we were to go for Cook we are looking at the remaining six riders all being around 5.00... or we keep Jack Thomas and can then get a heat leader and four 5.00 men. All this assumes there are no radical changes to the league set ups next year.
